McLean Office Burke Office Phone: 703-821-4040 Message From the PracticeDr. Feeney received his post-Doctoral training in periodontics and implantology at the University of Maryland, College of Dental Surgery in Baltimore. There he met Dr. Passero, who is on the schools faculty. “We realized we had instant synergy.” Dr. Feeney says. “ I knew we’d be a great fit, and we truly enjoy practicing together.” Dr. Feeney received his DMD degree from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine and his B.A. degree from the University of Rochester. He also completed an 18-month internship in anesthesiology. Through the course of his academic career, he garnered numerous awards and scholarships of scholastic excellence. He often lectures to local and national societies. Dr. Feeney is a current member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Fairfax County Dental Society, Northern Virginia Implant Study Club, Omikron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society, and the Northern Virginia Institute for Advanced Dental Education. Dr. Passero received his DDS degree from Georgetown University in 1972. Following two years of private practice in general dentistry, he received his periodontal post-Doctoral training at the University of Maryland, School of Dentistry in Baltimore. Currently he is on the faculty of the Graduate Department of Periodontics at the University of Maryland and shares responsibility for teaching both Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. He has lectured widely in Canada and the United States on these subjects. He holds memberships in the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, American Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society. Services
